Saint Aidan's
Our time at Saint Aidan's was filled with nostalgia and fun. It was a pleasure to welcome back Peter Reid an ex-pupil, who graciously answered a variety of insightful questions posed by our Year 6 students. His visit not only inspired the pupils but also rekindled fond memories of the school's vibrant history.

Heritage
Delving into local heritage has provided us with invaluable insights, especially through the exploration of historical records. Among these records, we discovered fascinating information about Peter, which deepens our understanding of our community's past. This opportunity not only enriches our knowledge but also strengthens our connection to the history that shapes our identity.
Pupil Questions
Peter faced some excellent and thought-provoking questions from Year 6 pupils, presenting him with unique challenges. These inquiries not only tested his memory and knowledge but also provided the students with valuable insights into the journey of becoming a professional footballer. Through this engaging dialogue, the pupils learned about the dedication, and skill required to succeed in the world of football. It was an inspiring experience for both Peter and the aspiring young people.

Breakfast
The pupils started each day with a nutritious breakfast that they helped to prepare, featuring a delightful selection of fruit, creamy yogurt, crispy toast, and indulgent pan au chocolat. This start not only fuelled their bodies but also set a positive tone for the activities of the day ahead.
Musical Heritage
We investigated a playlist of music that had Huyton influences and sources. A wide range of musical genres were explored.
